La Magnolia B&B is located in one of the main streets of the city, ten minutes away from the city centre of Bologna, but also in a nice and quiet place. From the main street, where you can find any type of services, (like bars, tobacco shops, pharmacy, supermarkets, restaurants etc.) you will enter into a private internal courtyard. Once inside you won’t guess you’re two steps away from downtown!
A FEW MINUTES AWAY FROM THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS OF THE CITY
La Magnolia B&B, located where you can easily reach the historical city centre, is also close to the major Bologna fairground and exhibition, the world renowned university, theatres and hospitals.
This makes it particularly interesting for those who come to Bologna for work, study or simply for culture and tourism, for shorts or long periods too. Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers, Via Indipendenza and all the city centre are just ten minutes away by walk. The major fairground and exhibition facility is 3km away, and our Guests can easily reach it with public transportation, taxi, or by car following a simple route on the ring road of Bologna. From La Magnolia B&B you can also reach with a lovely walk under our famous Porticoes (UNESCO heritage) the majestic Santuario della Beata Vergine di San Luca.

La Magnolia’s rooms can be arranged as single or double room, all furnished with taste and simplicity, centred around taking care of all of our Guests’ needs. With maximum comfort and a touch of personality, La Magnolia will make your stay unique and cosy. Every room is equipped with Smart TV, a little fridge, heating, and an independent air-conditioning unit. You can have breakfast both in your room or in our veranda with view on the garden. All of our Guest will find in every room bed linens and towels for the bathroom. Rooms will be cleaned daily. You will be pleased by Franca and Sara’s courtesy and hospitality!
LA MAGNOLIA B&B SNOW-COVERED DURING CHRISTMAS TIME!
A huge snowstorm coloured Bologna in white in 2009, changing the usually green landscape of our garden, always filled with plants and flowers.
Except for the classic inconvenience that snow brings in any city, here at La Magnolia, everyone – Guests included – loved this white moment that for a few days covered our green garden that we are used to enjoying. Franca and Sara are also two super Christmas lovers, so if you’ll choose Bologna for your holiday season you can’t miss La Magnolia all adorned!
